Terms & Conditions of the Service Smart Check Outs & Other Reports
This report constitutes as a contract between Professional Auto Care and the person who is named in this report. Professional Auto Care is under no contractual obligation to supply information or copies of this report to a third party.
Your Professional Auto Care Vehicle Report can only relate to the vehicle's condition at the time of inspection. The condition of a vehicle can change due to factors such as normal wear and tear, driver abuse or neglect, or unforeseen deterioration of some internal components.
Professional Auto Care reserves the right to disclose information to a third party on any potential safety issues regarding the vehicle which are identified by this inspection.
Your Professional Auto Care Report is based on the external examination of components. Due to the time and cost involved, it is not feasible for our inspectors to dismantle component assemblies to measure internal parts. These are evaluated by such factors as noise, operation and performance on the road.
A Professional Auto Care Service Smart Check OutSM is an evaluation carried out for the client of a vehicle. The evaluation will not tell you everything you need to know about a vehicle. Our inspectors will carry out a visual and operating inspection and check the general state of the vehicle at the time of inspection. The inspection report will not tell you about hidden defects, intermittent problems, or problems that cannot be identified on a visual inspection or unless parts of the vehicle are dismantled or which become manifest after inspection. We do not perform computer, electronic or mechanical diagnosis during this type of inspection. The inspection report will not identify whether any of the systems or parts of the vehicle will continue to operate acceptably or are acceptable at the time of inspection. An example of this would be the air conditioning system refrigerant level is not checked during a Service SmartSM inspection, therefore we cannot guarantee it will continue to cool post-check out. Provided our inspectors have acted with reasonable care and skill, Professional Auto Care will not be responsible for any defects or problems with the vehicle that are not identified or identifiable with an inspection of this kind. The inspection report does not contain information about the registration, liens or finance secured over the vehicle, or ownership of the vehicle as at the date of the check. Because this is a limited inspection, we do not warrant the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. You will still have to make up your own mind as to how you want to repair and maintain the vehicle. There are many factors that should be taken into consideration when caring for a used vehicle.
A Professional Auto Care Courtesy Check OutSM is a visual inspection of tires, lights, belts, hoses, fluid, and engine air filters. Sometimes cabin air filters are inspected. These are done upon request and are free. Sometimes due to daily workload, a PAC Courtesy Check OutSM cannot be performed.
A Professional Auto Care Diagnostic/Testing Report is a process in which a specific client concern or concerns is/are investigated. The technician documents their findings and makes recommendations based upon those findings, experience, industry recommendations, vehicle manufacturer specific bulletins, and supplier studies.
By selecting checkout, you agree to have reviewed this Report Agreement and understand that it is given to show the condition of the vehicle at the time of the inspection and evaluation only, and is made without any guarantee or warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied or arising by operation of law. You acknowledge that the safe operation and maintenance of the vehicle following the inspection is your sole responsibility.
